An outdoor kitchen turns a patio into a place people actually stay. Twin Rivers Concrete builds custom outdoor kitchens for homes in Brighton, Alton, Godfrey and the Greater St. Louis area. Some are a simple grill island. Others are full kitchens with storage, a bar top and room for a refrigerator.
We build the bases with a stone-look finish and top them with concrete countertops. A countertop can be smooth, veined, or shaped with a rough live edge, and colored to match the rest of the patio. Your grill, doors and drawers are fitted into the design from the start.
Many kitchens go in at the same time as a new patio, fireplace or fire pit, so everything matches. Caleb plans the layout with you so the cook isn't stuck with their back to the party.

Do I need a patio before adding an outdoor kitchen?
The kitchen needs a solid, level slab under it. If you don't have one, we can pour the patio and build the kitchen as one project.
Can you build around a grill I already own?
Yes. Give us the make and model and we'll size the opening to fit. If you're buying new, pick the grill first so the island is built around it.
How do concrete countertops hold up outside?
Sealed concrete handles sun, rain and heat well. Resealing from time to time keeps stains out and the color even.
