Twin Rivers Concrete
A Fire Pit That Belongs in the Yard
A fire pit gives you a reason to stay outside after dark. Twin Rivers Concrete builds custom fire pits for homes in Brighton, Alton, Godfrey and across Greater St. Louis, and most of them look nothing like what you'd buy in a box. We carve them to look like natural boulders or stacked stone and set them into the patio so they feel like part of the landscape.
Many of our fire pits come with built-in seating walls, so nobody has to drag chairs across the yard. We also build outdoor fireplaces with stone-look chimneys, either for a covered patio or as a focal point at the end of the yard.
We can add a fire pit to an existing patio or pour a new stamped patio around it. Caleb will help you work out the size, the seating and where the smoke will go.

Common Questions
Fire Pits FAQ
Wood-burning or gas?
Tell us which you want when we quote the job. A gas fire pit needs the line planned before anything is poured, and a wood-burning pit needs room for smoke to clear.
Can you add a fire pit to my existing patio?
Often, yes. It depends on the condition of the slab and how much room there is. We can also extend a patio to make space for the fire pit and seating.
How far should a fire pit be from the house?
A common rule of thumb is at least 10 feet from the house and anything that can catch, including overhangs and low branches. Check your town's burning rules too. We'll help you pick a safe spot when we look at the yard.
Do you build fire pits in my area?
We're based in Brighton, IL and work across the Greater St. Louis area, including Alton, Godfrey, Edwardsville, Wood River, Bethalto, Jerseyville, Collinsville and Granite City. If your town isn't listed, call or text and ask.
